I would sometimes like to read my horoscopes. There is no special purpose and just maybe for some insights or good laughs. However, it has always been a question to me whether my zodiac sign does play an important part in my relationship behavior.
Today as I "Google" for the sake of my curiosity, I have found someone put my doubts into test from a relatively credible source. He is Charles S. Reichardt of Univeristy of Denver and here is the link for his tutorial materials.
http://www.du.edu/idea/psychology/astrology4.pdfIn short, there is no significant relationship in terms of statistics between the zodiac signs and the ppl's relationship behavior. And I particularly love his survey method because he has made this research completely clean from subjective opinions, i.e., he was not asking how the objects feel about their relationship or their tendency to behave in a relationship, but to state the fact. For example, rather than asking "do you think you are loyal to your partner?", he asked " Have you ever cheated on your partner? Ans: Yes/ No/ Never married". Clear enough.
If you've found the above too simple and you are skeptical about its sample size and sampling method, somebody -
Geoffrey Dean and Ivan W. Kelly, have done a more refined research on this topic

You are going to be pretty much the same as you are if you were born on other dates/time.
Anyway, astrology/ horoscope are for leisure and entertainment...we are not going decide our dates based on his/hers horoscope, don't we?
